• Transparent quotes with no upselling
• Full prep and cleanup handled by the crew
• Owner Sam personally manages customer communication

ALBO is named directly for second-storey additions in its review history, with clients describing multi-floor gut-and-rebuild projects delivered on schedule despite seven-month timelines. The 4.9 rating across 52 reviews and named leads (Vlad and Ivan) point to a team that manages design through completion rather than just swinging hammers.

• Manages complex, multi-storey projects end-to-end
• Named leads (Vlad, Ivan) build direct client relationships
• Delivers on schedule even on seven-month builds
• Strong finish and structural trade work

★★★★★4.9 (171 reviews)score 84/100

Sky Home has the largest review base on this list at 171 reviews and a 4.9 rating, with 15 years under owner Raj and named craftsperson Honey behind kitchens, basements, and whole-home projects across the GTA. One documented code violation on a basement dry vent and a slow post-completion response pull its sentiment score down, so this is a case where the volume is real but the record isn't spotless.

• Large, established track record (171 reviews)
• Named, hands-on staff (Raj, Honey)
• Strong material sourcing and finish quality
• Responsive during the active build phase

Watch out: One reviewer reported a code-compliant venting issue and difficulty getting a response after it surfaced; confirm inspection sign-off on any mechanical work.

★★★★★4.8 (30 reviews)score 83/100

Toronto Home Repairs runs a smaller operation (30 reviews, 4.8 rating) but 28 of those 30 are five stars, with Dil named repeatedly for punctuality and clear updates on progress and delays. It's a medium-confidence pick given the smaller sample, but the consistency across both small repairs and full renovations is notable.

• Lead technician Dil known by name across reviews
• Regular updates on progress and any delays
• Fair pricing on both small and large jobs
• Quick response on active inquiries

Watch out: One reviewer mentioned being ghosted after an initial quote request.

Nomarc's review record is small (21 reviews) but perfect, with five straight years of five-star ratings across basement conversions, decks, and full-home work. Sevan's team is called out for on-time, on-budget delivery and in-house 3D design visualization, useful for previewing an addition before construction starts. The low review volume means this is more of an emerging track record than a long-proven one.

• 100% five-star reviews over five years
• In-house design and 3D visualization
• On-time, on-budget delivery record
• Named team leads (Sevan, Bulent, Hikmet)

ACTO holds a solid 4.8 rating across 25 reviews, giving it a respectable if smaller footprint than others on this list. A detailed sentiment breakdown wasn't available on this pass, so this placement leans on rating consistency and review volume rather than a deep read of customer feedback.

• Consistent 4.8 rating
• Reasonable review volume for a specialist contractor

Watch out: Limited detailed feedback available; get an itemized quote and ask for recent addition-project references.
