1. Toronto Home Renovation Contractors By Red Stone Contracting
5 (47 reviews)score 88/100
Red Stone posts a 5.0 average across 47 reviews, the highest review volume and composite score in this group, built on named project leads and in-house permit handling. Reviewers describe everything from laneway suites to multi-bathroom gut jobs finishing on budget and sometimes early, which matters when a custom build has to survive Toronto's permitting process.
- Permits and condo approvals handled without homeowners chasing paperwork
- Named leads Shuki and Tony respond within hours
- Itemized quotes reportedly match the final invoice
- Handles additions, laneway suites and multi-bathroom work simultaneously
Watch out: Verification on the profile sits on the lower side, so confirm current licensing directly before signing a contract.

3. Eden Homes Contracting Services Inc
4.9 (40 reviews)score 83/100
Eden Homes earns a 4.9 rating from 40 reviews with every recent review praising Bilal's framing, additions and custom carpentry work across the GTA. The composite sits a notch below the top two mainly on completeness of profile data rather than on service quality, and repeat clients of 6-plus years suggest real staying power.
- Bilal leads projects hands-on with long-term repeat clients
- Consistent on-time, on-budget track record
- Clean, precise framing and carpentry singled out by reviewers
- Fair, transparent pricing
Watch out: Medium confidence rating, so weigh this alongside the higher review-volume options above.

4. Elite Construction And Renovations
4.9 (18 reviews)score 84/100
Elite's composite is boosted by strong sentiment on genuinely complex jobs: basement underpinnings, third-floor additions and a 120-year-old cottage rebuild. Named project managers Trevor and Keith get called out repeatedly for proactive updates through the Buildertrend app, and realtors and interior designers reportedly refer clients back to them.
- Project managers handle complex, multi-phase timelines proactively
- Buildertrend app gives clients week-by-week visibility
- Budget changes tracked transparently against client decisions
- Repeat referrals from realtors and interior designers
Watch out: Only 18 reviews behind the rating, so the track record, while spotless so far, is thinner than the top three.

5. Leman Construction
4.8 (21 reviews)score 77/100
Leman Construction still delivers a 4.8 rating from 21 reviews, with most clients reporting on-time, on-budget work under Leonid or Erik's direct leadership plus included design consultation. The composite is the lowest of the five mainly because sentiment is more mixed than the others.
- Hands-on leadership from Leonid or Erik on every project
- Design consultation and cost advice included
- Strong subcontractor coordination
- Most reviews cite on-time, on-budget completion
Watch out: One older review flagged unreliable, crude communication, worth asking about directly before committing.
