Renovation contractors in Scarborough: ranked picks
Scarborough covers a lot of ground, from post-war bungalows near Kennedy to newer infill and additions around Agincourt and the Bluffs, and renovation needs vary accordingly. The contractors below were scored using a consistent methodology that weighs rating, review volume, recency, and sentiment, rather than star rating alone. Alongside general renovation firms, you'll find specialists in mold remediation, waterproofing, roofing, and bin rental that regularly come up in the same projects.
Older Scarborough homes, especially those built before the 1970s, often bring basement moisture or foundation issues into a renovation scope, which is why waterproofing and mold remediation specialists appear alongside general contractors here. Detached houses with longer driveways make bin drop-off logistics a real consideration for bigger gut jobs, and steep or narrow lots near the Bluffs can complicate roofing access. Full kitchen, bathroom, and basement renovations remain the most common calls, with room additions and attic work following close behind.
