Renovation contractors in North York: ranked picks
North York's mix of postwar bungalows, 1960s-70s high-rise condos, and newer infill homes keeps renovation contractors busy with everything from basement finishes to full kitchen guts. The list below ranks contractors serving the area using our methodology, which weighs review volume, recency, sentiment, and verification rather than star rating alone.
Many North York jobs involve older homes near Yonge Street and the Finch and Sheppard corridors that need drywall repair, popcorn ceiling removal, or bathroom updates, alongside condo units around North York Centre where fast, low-disruption turnarounds matter for building management approval windows. Basement and water damage work also comes up often here given the number of homes with older foundations and finished lower levels.
